Penang: A Brisk Walk through the Historic Town



WE Started by train and air to Langkawi,

then headed toward Penang 
from Langkawi:

                     
    boarding a  Ferry

 in a sunny afternoon, 

Hey,Here we go ! We were in cabin seats for 3 hr boat-ride, 
that's G R  E   A     T      !




We were not seasick at all, landed safely to the Penang Jetty:

                                               

The historical Clock Tower greeted us,after a few minute walk westward from the Jetty;

then marched to the Fort Cornwallis,


                                                                                                                       next to the tower:







P.S : I was captured inside the Magazine where explosives were kept in old days .

@Jalan Transfer : Signature Curry Stingray & Chrysanthemum Tea uniquely served in recycled glass bottle!


A family run modest restaurant on Jalan  Transfer,where All the tables were  occupied when we passed by at 7 pm.

Promping us to enjoy the  clean,authentic,inexpensive dishes .


Assam curry Squid, Guinness Stout Pork Ribs & fried 'Potato leave' are our choices.


On way back to hotel,had to take refuge from drizzle in the Penang Street.
